Many years ago, in the dim era of the late Disco age, a pair of visionary writers, Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea, wrote a revelatory series of books known as The Illuminatus Trilogy.

Their work was shocking in the scope of its paranoia, embracing aliens, gods, goddesses, cabals and cabala, the Bavarian Illuminati, Eris (sometimes known as Discordia) and the Holy Chao, tying them all together to include the death of Marilyn Monroe and the Assassination of John F Kennedy.

These writers told us of such sages as Malaclypse the Younger and Omar Ravenhurst. They revealed to us the worship of the Goddess Eris, and the writings of The Principia Discordia.

Inspired to a madness of creative frenzy by these revelations, your artist seized pencils and drawing pens and embarked on many days and nights of intensive doodling until she had before her the work you can see reproduced here.

A Discordian Coloring Book, originally created in 1982, was printed only in a limited edition of 1,000 copies, but now, via the medium of the web it is available for more general viewing.
